For over 15 years, Matt has been an information technology professional, primarily in support of higher education. He joined the Virginia Community College System in 2003 and served as their director for enterprise infrastructure. During his tenure with the VCCS, Matt served as Interim Vice President for Information Technology at Thomas Nelson Community College, one of the VCCS member institutions. Matt holds a Masters of Information Systems Management and Bachelors in Business Management from Brigham Young University. Currently, Matt is a principal architect for NetApp Inc. His key areas of focus include virtualization, disaster recovery technologies, enterprise storage, and green data centers. Matt has previously presented at Educause, Gartner, League of Innovation, NetApp Insight, and various conferences and other events.
