Ahoy, Mateys! Come Discover Knowledge and Content Management Strategies with Us!

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Please join us for thought-provoking discussion to discover and share your Higher Ed Knowledge and Content Management Strategies. Virginia Tech is changing how we do content management from a single team of writers and editors to a model that allows any interested IT employee to contribute and manage their own content in our central ServiceNow database for knowledge and service catalog entries. We are learning how to engage new content partners, set agreements with them, and work as a team to make great content for our users. Our new model seems to be working well, but we know there's always room for improvement. So please come and share your thoughts and experiences about your instution's knowledge and content management strategies. Do you encourage others to unify their content in a central database? What level and how much control or access do you give content partners? How do you enforce a scheduled review of content? Does your team review content from partners before or after publication? Have other areas of knowledge and content management you'd like to discover? These are just some of the questions we plan to discuss during this session, but additional inquiries are HIGHLY encouraged!
